Provides nursing scholarships in baccalaureate and graduate nursing education and nursing anesthesia programs.
Supports the advancement of military nursing knowledge and practice through seed grants for nursing research and evidence-based practice.
Provide support for publication of military nursing research findings.
Provide support for members' nursing specialty certification.
Consults with the Army Nurse Corps Historian, assists nurse researchers with ANC-related studies, and documents ANC and ANCA history.
Volunteers time, talent and resources in support of ANC and ANCA projects and endeavors. Publishes a quarterly newsletter, The Connection, and maintains an on-line membership roster to facilitate networking and communication among members.
Conducts a biennial convention in even years. Recent conventions have been held in Washington, DC; Tacoma, Washington; and San Antonio, Texas; and our 2016 convention will be held in San Diego, California, followed by an optional sea cruise along the Pacific coast.
Participates in Army Nurse Corps events and celebrations and other ANCA/Community events.
