We named our company Live Oak Homes because our family loves and appreciates our southern culture and history. We adore Louisiana nature and respect the antiquity that the branches of the large live oak trees have. The tree’s long limbs swoop and branch out, as does our own family tree. Our ancestry is rooted deep within Louisiana, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
While we are a construction company, our focus for Live Oak Homes is to help preserve history by renovating homes, some of which, may have fallen prey to age and demolition. We update the home with all of today's modern conveniences while also retaining the building’s original southern charm and beauty.
Our services are truly custom, from design through all aspects of the construction. We, at Live Oak Homes, don’t believe in what we call ‘lipstick-jobs’. We deliver quality work and characteristic homes because we have pride in the finished product. The best part of what we do is helping our historic southern communities by upgrading neighborhoods and watching the joy and appreciation shown by the new families when they are able to see the unveiling of what LOH has accomplished and live with peace of mind knowing the love and detail that was put into the home.
