The Women's Literary Club of Mena established the Mena Public Library in 1904, and maintained it until 1965. At that time the library building, books, and equipment were given to the newly established Polk County Library.
Today we have branch libraries and services in Cove, Big Fork, Board Camp, Hatfield, Shady, and Grannis. The MPCL is dedicated to serving the communities of Polk County, Arkansas, with the best collection, equipment, and staff available.
