The Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, Inc. was established in the 1930's. Our father Joseph A Caggiano, was employed as a tradesman for several years before becoming a Funeral Director with the firm. In 1981, an opportunity arose to purchase the business and his dream of owning and operating a funeral home was realized. Although he passed away in 1997, his children, a son and three daughters; Joseph J. Caggiano, Licensed Funeral Director, Lisa M. Caggiano, Licensed Funeral Director and Manager, Jean O. Meade and Maria T. Caggiano-Van Duffelen, Office Administrator, continue his legacy of caring, compassionate service to the community. A grandson, Richard J. Meade, was licensed in 2012 and is a funeral director with the firm. Our hope is to provide our families with a way to commemorate their loved one's life. Our staff realizes this is an extremely emotional and overwhelming time in which it is our honor to provide information and attention to detail that will help the family through this difficult time.
