All level classes begin at age 8 and students advance from one level to the next based on their individual growth in each individual class. Students are required to master each level before moving on to the next level. In general student advancement can take 2 to 4 years in each level, but that can vary based on student’s innate ability, individual effort and personal growth! At the Marcellus Dance Studio we are not trying to hinder any student growth, but it is our responsibility to make sure that each student is placed in a level that can challenge their technical skills, character, dance etiquette, and overall dance educational experience. Please help support our efforts by encouraging your child to get the most out of each class by coming to class on time, being dressed and practicing what they learn in class. Together we can make a difference in each students dance experience.
