Reduction Engineering was founded in 1992 preceded by Accu-Grind Inc. which was a service center for industrial knives, such as pelletizer rotors, granulators, and pulverizer discs. This founded our service mentality that carries through today. In 1993 Reduction Engineering was started by virtue of a client needing to purchase a better pulverizing system. Word of mouth of a new system for pulverizing roto grade material pushes Reduction Engineering to the forefront and merges with Accu-Grind in 1994. Reduction Engineering started to work with Conair in 2000 by taking over the service of pelletizer parts, then we ended up assembling the complete Conair machine for Conair finally in 2006. RE ended up buying the Conair Pelletizer line. In 2001 we arranged a partnership with Rotoline, our sister company in Brazil for the sale and distribution of Rotomolding machinery. In 2008 we purchased the assets of CF Scheer in Stuttgart, Germany of and also acquired their service center in Shanghai, China. Today Reduction Engineering is the largest supplier of pulverizing & Strand Pelletizing machinery in the world. Our focus for the future is to lean heavily into R&D to develop new products to compliment our ever evolving line of equipment for pulverizing, rotomolding, PVC compounding, and resin manufacturing industry.
