Grandma’s Marathon, one of the largest marathons in the nation, features a beautiful point-to-point course that starts just outside of Two Harbors, Minn. and runs along the scenic north shore of Lake Superior. Excellent aid stations staffed by enthusiastic volunteers line the stretch, and thousands of excited spectators cheer race participants on as they run toward the finish line in Duluth’s famous Canal Park.
The Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, William A. Irvin 5K, Whipper Snapper Races for Kids, Michelina’s All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner, Essentia Health Fitness Expo, guest speaking presentations and live musical entertainment accompany Grandma’s Marathon and help make it an experience that participants, family and race fans will remember forever!
