What started from the back of a tiny Datsun Hatchback more than 40 years ago with a passion, need, and a strong will; turned into the largest Army Navy Military Surplus Stores in New England. With 7 stores (see below) and website coming soon - selling Genuine Military Surplus and everything from ‘A’irsoft to ‘Z’ippos. After graduation from UNH in ‘78 Steve LoPilato moved to the Big Apple for grad school. With lots of school loans to pay back, he hit the flea markets selling his collection of military surplus out of the back of his car. Working in computer science to pay the bills he moved back to the Boston area and continued collecting and selling at flea markets on weekends. Before long he used his savings and followed his dream by opening a tiny shop in Revere, MA. With the rest of his savings he bought a truck and traveled to colleges and fairs throughout New England. Four decades have provided lots of ups and downs as he’s tirelessly persevered pursuing his goal of selling military surplus. With the help of an outstanding staff he’s able to keep his passion alive and share it with a lot of great people that have become customers. If Steve’s not working in the warehouse, office or one of the stores, you can probably find him following his second passion of coaching youth wrestling. In his spare time he enjoys helping family, friends and community.
