You DO NOT NEED a military ID card to shop at the Fort Myer Thrift Shop. Have a PHOTO ID card (such as a drivers license/passport) to drive through the gate.
We have two buildings full of donated and consigned items! Our sales change weekly.
Consign: A military ID (active, retired, National Guard, Reserves) card is required to consign with us. We pride ourselves on making this easy and lucrative for you! If your item sells you get 75% of the profit. Our consignment fee is 25% - the smallest in this area.
Donate: The Fort Myer Thrift Shop is a registered 501c3 exempt non-profit organization. Please ask for a tax deductible receipt when you drop off your donation during business hours. We are happy for your donations.
