With a solid work ethic, Harry grew the company with sales of 36 tons to 144 within the first 3 years, which allowed the purchase the original leased mill in 1903 and acquire a second mill in 1905. Asbury Graphite used its success to springboard into other ventures that capitalize on the ability to grow and innovate in the graphite industry. Now known as Asbury Carbons, Inc. Asbury has locations nationally as well as internationally.
