After working together at Tsumura International for ten years, Jodi Callahan and Kathy Cowie formed c-squared design, drawing on their strengths in the Health and Beauty business. When they formed the company in 1999, they developed a package design business with a wide variety of products, but maintained a strong stable of HBA clients in the adult and children’s markets. The firm today consists of the two original partners, and several specialty freelancers for painting and sculpting.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Two and Three-Dimensional design from initial concept through production: Research into competitive products via store checks and detailed internet searches. Package and Logo design, color studies, copywriting, comping, paint masters. Artwork prepared to print on a variety of substrates. Experience working with licensors, sculptors, mold-makers and plastics’ manufacturers (domestic and abroad), including: rotational molding, blow molding, injection molding and painting processes.
AWARDS Collaborated on products that won the New Jersey Packaging Association’s Gold Award (Barney Fuji Bottles) and the Team Disney Award for 3-D Design.
