The Winnebago County Literacy Council (WALC) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit, educational organization. Our mission is to help adults and families increase their literacy skills. For over 30 years the WALC has delivered free literacy services in our community. These services include Road to Work job coaching, English language classes, Family Literacy classes, one-to-one tutoring, and Homework Help at FVTC.
