I hold a Degree in Commerce from Delhi University
Graduated in Summer of 1990.

I worked as a Technical Writer and later on as a Graphic Designer for Software Communication Solutions, an Atlanta based company from 1998 to 2005.

While working as a Graphic Designer, I was exposed to the ever-expanding world of e-commerce. There were countless, intuitively built, information-rich commercial websites selling different products and it was amazing how fast internet shopping was becoming a way of life. had gone public and was one of the first companies that sold Medical Products and Supplies on the internet. Its stock was doing phenomenally well in those days. I always started to run my own business and felt that eCommerce was the next big wave. It was during this time, around January 2002, that I decided to set up a small store on the web selling Medical Supplies. My sister and I came up with the Name- Med on the , and we started a store on Yahoo Stores with barely 1000 products. MedOnTheNet was launched on April 1, 2002. My first Internet order came on April 10, 2002 and I remember it was for the MetRx Protein Bars. Orders began trickling in soon there-after, and I embarked on a journey to passionately bring more and more products to the market.

I have always been committed that my customers get the product they order, as fast as possible, so I worked with only those distributors who had a nationwide presence. My customers were always very happy as was evidenced in my Yahoo ratings. Yahoo ratings were based on actual customer feedback; Yahoo would send an Email to every customers, within 2 weeks of the transaction to rate the customer service experience, and this was my metric to see how I was doing. collected over 1000 Excellent Ratings within the first 2 years of existence. It continues to get Excellent Ratings, even today.

In 2011, we started our New Website, so as to add a larger array of products, and upgrade our look as well as database back-end. We now carry over 14000 Medical Supplies and Products online, be it Diabetic, Orthopedic or simply Syringes and Needles.
