Dr. Kien T. Tran, MD, PhD is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Board Certified Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist. He received his medical training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After leaving medical school, Dr. Tran completed an internship in Internal Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. He is involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and dermatology residents. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and also teaches at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Tran takes great joy in being a skin specialist and serving the skin care needs of the surrounding community.
