Gnaw on This: The First Sunday in Lent ascideas.org/2017/02/27/gna…

From Mike Kinman, Rector of All Saints Church: The gospel isn't meant to be gulped down on Sunday morning, but gnawed on through the week so it really becomes a part of us. You've got to work at it, like a dog with a good bone! So starting this week, I'm going to send you "Gnaw on This," a weekly invitation to reflect on the gospel for the upcoming Sunday! In it I'm going to include the gospel for the week, the backstory of the lesson, a few things to chew on with regard to it, something to try so you can get a real feel for the passage, and the collect for the next Sunday. I hope it provides you with a feast for your mind and heart.
