Support the missions and the work of all missionaries this weekend.
You don't have to be a priest or nun to be a missionary: You can be a lay missionary. Here, a young Virginian recounts his experience in Bolivia. Oct. 22 is World Mission Sunday: Besides praying for missions and donating to collections, will you consider being a lay missionary?

Good morning from Assisi!

The sun is rising in Assisi. Good morning Diocese of Greensburg!

A special gift was given to the pilgrims at Mass in Assisi yesterday when Dolores Brzycki, a parishioner of Saint Thomas More University Parish, played the "Prayer of Saint Francis."

Diocese of Greensburg shared Bishop Ed Malesic's post.
The pilgrims arrived in Italy this morning and continued their pilgrimage in Assisi.
Today was an exciting day for the pilgrimage as we finally landed in Rome. We then headed to Assisi where we visited the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and celebrated Mass together in the crypt. This is where St Francis began his order and also the place where he died. We then continued up the hill to our hotel and enjoyed our first Italian dinner of the trip.

Be not afraid. Check out #JeremiahDays and step outside your parenting comfort zone October 21.†…
