Cape May's only B&B originally designed as a guest house. Built in 1882, The Mooring now offers eight uncluttered guest rooms and two suites, each with a mix of period antiques and contemporary furnishings to ensure a memorable and comfortable stay. All rooms/suites have private bath, air-conditioning, and complimentary WiFi. We have some rooms with ocean view and two with semi-private porch. Our suites and premium rooms have flat-screen cable TV and an assigned, on-site parking space. The two standard rooms are without TV or on-site parking, but free street parking is just out front.
Breakfast is served daily at tables for two, and includes a continental buffet as well as a varying menu of freshly prepared entree selections (eggs or French toast) and "appetizers" (try the Greek yogurt with honey and candied pecans!). Afternoon tea and cookies are offered as well.
Stroll the tree-lined streets and admire Cape May's many architectural gems, or take a tour by trolley or horse-drawn carriage. Shop the Washington Street Mall, visit the Zoo, picnic at the Winery ... or just relax on the beach!
