Established in 1990, Garden Spot Village was the result of a dream of a retirement community in Eastern Lancaster County. Construction began in 1994, and two years later Garden Spot Village opened with nine cottages. Soon after, the Gardens North, West, South Apartments opened, and personal care suites were established.
Garden Spot Village has continued to expand with Mountain View personal care, Laurel View memory support, and skilled nursing communities. In 2006 Garden Spot Village introduced skilled care households with a innovative, person-centered approach to skilled nursing care with Springwood and Summerfielde homes.
Garden Spot Village currently offers a variety of options for residents, from private carriage homes and apartments to living situations accompanied by different levels of skilled care for those who require it. Over the years, Garden Spot Village has been recognized as an innovator and continues to expand and grow.
