CORE Myofascial Therapy improves flexibility, structural alignment and balance, all while addressing chronic or acute pain. This form of bodywork uses slow deep pressure applied at a 45 degree angle to stretch and spread the body’s connective tissue (also known as fascia) and release restrictions. It is highly effective in the treatment of acute and chronic injuries including repetitive motion injuries. Myofascial therapy eliminates chronic pain while restoring greater length and movement to the body. It is most effective when delivered in a series of sessions that focus on both region specific concerns as well as full-body treatment.
CORE Myofascial Therapy was used as the premier treatment for the British Olympic Team at their 1995 and 1996 Olympic Training Camps held at Florida State University. Due to the unprecedented results found with these training camps, CORE Myofascial Therapy has become a premiere therapeutic technique used internationally. Tina Boutiette, LMT, Cindi Sigsbury, LMT and Rebecca Montgomery, LMT have all been certified in this technique and are very happy to be able to provide a real answer for your therapeutic needs.
