Benning Group, LLC was created in July 2008, however, our history started much earlier. Don Benning opened the first office in October 1987 as a two person accounting partnership located in Monroe, Wisconsin. Over the years the Monroe office joined with individuals from Rockford and eventually became Millikin Benning Kleckler and Kobischka, LLC. In July 2008, the Monroe office separated from the Rockford office and became Benning Group, LLC. In January 2009, Benning Group, LLC acquired the accounting practice of Robert Carlile in Freeport, Illinois, whose practice began in Freeport in 1960. In August 2009 we moved into our current office on the 8th floor of the Stewart Centre in Freeport. Additionally, Curt Kleckler joined us in mid-2010 as a partner for our newest location in Rockford, Illinois. We currently have thirteen accounting professionals and six support staff spread over our offices in Monroe, Freeport, and Rockford. We have been proudly serving the stateline area for over 25 years and look to continuously grow and better serve our clients. We provide a full scope of accounting services including:
