In 1978, Billy Holloway formed Trentstone and began manufacturing a lightweight pre-fab stone product used for facing buildings and fireplaces. In response to local installers needing a better quality alternative for the installation of pre-fab fireplaces, by 1980, Trentstone had become the first company in the Savannah, GA area to install pre-fab fireplaces professionally. Within a few years, Trentstone had acquired the area distributorship for several fireplace manufacturers including Heatilator (one of the few that have remained in business to this day).
Over the years, Trentstone, Inc. has expanded into other areas of the construction products and services industry to offer customers vented and vent-free gas logs and fireplaces, electric fireplaces and log sets, wood and pre-cast mantels, and ventilated closet shelving.
Still a family-owned business, today, the next generation of the Holloway family have become the area's authority on pre-fab wood, gas, and electric fireplaces, including vented and vent-free gas logs. A factory authorized distributor of Heatilator and Monessen fireplaces and gas appliances, Burley electric fireplace products, Rasmussen gas logs, Interphase fabricated mantels, and Schulte storage systems and an authorized dealer of Peterson gas logs and Yosemite pre-cast mantles, Trentstone, Inc. is here to serve the needs of the homeowner and residential contractor alike.
