Elmwood Memorial Park is a 93 acre cemetery located in Abilene, Texas. Approximately one half of the cemetery acreage is currently developed for burial leaving many options for future expansion and continued service to Abilene.
Established in 1948, Elmwood is the oldest and largest provider of perpetual care cemetery services in the Abilene area. Large Live Oak trees punctuate the lavish landscaping at Elmwood creating a mature park like setting that is unrivaled in central west Texas.
Elmwood offers a full range of options in the selection of a dignified final resting place. Families can choose from private and public mausoleums as well as lawn crypts, regular ground burial and several cremation options ranging from boulder estates to columbarium niches.
Elmwood Funeral Home was built on the cemetery grounds in 1995. Our Funeral Home also offers a full range of traditional and cremation services and pre-arrangement plans to accommodate any family’s final wishes.
