We build people who build God's Kingdom.

It is our vision and our goal, that we be His physical representatives in this world. In a world where the nonbeliever is bewildered by the sheer quantity of evil that is present and active, in a world where there seems to be no answers available, it is the job of the church to offer the truth. When they come out of the darkness, seeking the light, it is our job to show them the source of that light. We know that He is the answer to the darkness of this world, and it is our job to instruct others in that truth. In order for us to make that happen, there are a few areas where we have to be focused:
must be focused on the Sunday School and Discipleship portion of our ministry. The workers are few and therefore must be instructed, strengthened, encouraged, and invested in. They, along with any new members, must be given plentiful opportunity to ask questions and have those questions answered. They must be given opportunity to grow and learn, they must be given the opportunity to study in a guided fashion. Sunday school is where they are given that opportunity.

2. We must be focused on outreach, compassion, and support for Missions because our Lord commands it, and because it is through these avenues that we will be able to find those who are in the greatest need. This world has convinced mankind that God does not care about them, that their needs and pains are unimportant. We know better. We know that His heart hurts when theirs does. It breaks for them. It is our responsibility then, to identify the needs of those who surround us in our community and to do our best to either provide for those needs or to lead them to the correct places to have those needs met. When the people of God show that they care, the world will know that God cares. It is through this care that we will find our opportunities to introduce people to the Lord. It is by actively investing in their life that they will allow us to see their most personal side, the side that wants to know God. We will be focusing our energy on bringing the people of the world into the church, by helping them to understand that He wants them, that He loves them, and that He cares for them.
3. Lastly, we must be focused on being entirely obedient to the Lord. If we are not HOLY DEVOTED to doing EVERYTHING that He calls us to, this ministry will fail. We will be working to understand what the Spirit is doing within us so that we can completely submit to His sanctifying work. This is the key to making a ministry of growth, outreach, and compassion successful….obedient submission to the Lord. We cannot fear when we are called by the Lord most high. We cannot hesitate, we cannot wait, we cannot delay when He calls us to actively work for His kingdom. No, instead we will be actively listening and obeying, completing every work which He calls us to.
This is the vision that He has given us for the people of Cadillac and He has instructed us not to aim low. Not to accept small dreams. If we are focused on these things, if we are truly focused on growing ourselves and each other, truly focused on reaching the lost and connecting them with the Father, truly focused on being obedient as we are sanctified entirely…there is no reason not to expect that every non believer be saved. There is no reason not to EXPECT that God will work through an obedient people to save every one they come into contact with. This is the vision of the Lord, and it is what we will be focusing on.
