The Sonoma Valley/Schellville Airport is unique in many ways. A country airport atmosphere with a true dedication to the aircraft of the first 50 years of aviation. There are a wide variety of trophy winning vintage and veteran aircraft operating at the airport, many are extremely rare and there are even a couple that are one-of-a-kind. With proper permission and briefing from airport staff, you can tour the airport and see these aircraft as well as visit with their owners. An on-the-field business, Vintage Aircraft Company, sells rides in Stearman biplanes and a North American T-6 Texan. The North Bay Air Museum, also located on the field, offers living history flights in their dual control 1943 Curtiss P-40 Warhawk. The airport holds monthly display days, open to the public, on the second full weekend of each month.
