SAFE Haven is supported by many volunteers in our community. At least 100 people per week volunteer for one of 12 shifts to make sure the cats are clean, socialized and well cared for.
From adopting 52 cats and kittens in the first year to rescuing and adopting almost 10,000 to date, we have always provided the very best food, medical care and social environment for the felines in our care.
Our clinic now spays/neuters almost 20 cats (and small dogs) each day. To date, our clinic has spayed/neutered over 27,000 cats and kittens.
We also have a Pet Food Pantry to help individuals who are having difficulty feeding their pets. SAFE Haven holds two low-cost rabies clinics per year where individuals can bring their dogs and cats and have them rabies vaccinated for $5 each.
