Auntie Helen's was founded in July, 1988 by Gary Cheatham to provide laundry service to people living with AIDS. Today, Auntie Helen's continues that mission as San Diego area's oldest direct service provider to people living with HIV/AIDS.

Our Vision: We envision a community where people living with HIV/AIDS can have an empowered, loving life without barriers.

Auntie Helen’s is a non-profit community service organization. We cannot do what we do without help! We are a recognized 501(c)(3) by the IRS, making donations tax-deductible.
