Baptist Retirement Community has been serving the seniors and their families of the Concho Valley since 1951 and is the only continuing care retirement community in the area. BRC became a part of Buckner Retirement Services, Inc. in January 2010. Baptist Retirement Community offers independent living, skilled nursing, long & short term care, memory care assisted living, personal assistance services, and outpatient therapy.
Sagecrest Alzheimer's Care Center is 52 bed memory care nursing facility in addition to the were added to Sagecrest in March 2008. These homes opened up 20 more private rooms for those living with Alzheimer's and related dementia.
In Spring of 2016, Baptist Retirement Community opened up "The Crest," two small homes for those needing more assistance with their activities of daily living, The Crest is a Memory Care Assisted Living innovative concept serving those with a memory impairment. Each home has 14 private suites surrounded by a common secure, beautiful courtyard. The Crest offers person directed care, wellness and life enrichment opportunities, transportation to medical appointments, and direct access to our on campus urgent care clinic.
Approximately 450 residents live on 100 acres of the BRC campus.
