Founded in 1999, NowDocs was established as a provider of print services with regional distribution centers around the world. In February of 2000, NowDocs launched the website for printing and delivery over the Internet. NowDocs pioneered the NowPrint software that allowed any person from their computer to upload documents using their web browser and preview them on the NowDocs website. Users were able to configure their print, binding, shipping, and payment options and place their order. NowDocs received a United States Patent for this methodology in 2004. In 2001, NowDocs exited the print and delivery fulfillment model and focused on the business of developing and marketing the NowPrint software that powered the online print and delivery service.
In 2004, NowDocs acquired RxLASER, adding electronic document distribution solutions to our portfolio including the NowForms and NowChecks solutions. In 2005, NowDocs launched the website to provide customers using our NowChecks software the ability to order all their check printing supplies online.
