Food Bank for the Heartland is a nonprofit organization in Omaha, Nebraska committed to helping individuals and families who struggle with hunger. We work with more than 225 pantries, emergency shelters, meal providers and other nonprofit organizations in 93 counties in Nebraska and western Iowa.
The Food Bank distributed more than 15 million pounds of food in 2014 and assisted over 250,000 people in need in our communities. Individuals and organizations can help the Food Bank continue its mission by volunteering and donating food and funds.
