Each year, the Wood County Humane Society (WCHS) takes in hundreds of animals and provides food, shelter and medical care. We find permanent, loving homes (or reunite lost animals with their owners) for dogs and cats who would otherwise be left to roam the streets, and our cruelty investigation officer responds to complaints that would otherwise go unnoticed. We give presentations to school children and various community groups, and our SNIP program helps Wood County residents cover the cost of spaying/neutering their owned and stray cats. People like you make this possible!
