REMINDER: The sixth annual African American Read-In is set for 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1819 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The free event will include distribution of free children's books to all families who attend. Bus transportation to the event is also available at no cost from all District 9 schools and campuses working with the district's African American Success Initiative.
