Established in 1990 by President and owner Robert Weaver, Potomac Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is a full service Mechanical Contractor who specializes in tenant work, HVAC and Plumbing service. With the additional help from Vice Presidents Steven Embrey and Michael Didion, Potomac Mechanical has grown and expanded to provide professional and dependable service to commercial clients throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. Committed to their customers and motivated in today’s competitive market Potomac Mechanical has recently added a plumbing division to support the companies functions as a full service Mechanical Contractor.

Specializing in commercial work for unitary as well as built-up HVAC systems, Potomac Mechanical is staffed with a highly trained management and technical team, who are committed to providing the very highest quality of service to each and every customer. All employees work as a team, doing what it takes to get the job done with quality and efficiency which has allowed Potomac Mechanical to have continued success in the region.

Throughout the years Potomac Mechanical has created loyal working relationships with a number of general contractors including, Jones Lang LaSalle, KBR Corporation, Coakley and Williams Construction, Therrien Waddell Construction and Hitt Contracting, to name a few. In addition, they have provided reliable service to clients such as, Lockheed Martin, JLL Property Management, RFF Properties and CVS Corporation. While always having a service department for warranty, repair, replacement and maintenance, in recent years, Potomac Mechanical has concentrated its efforts to expand the service business. Currently the company has six service trucks on the road, a sales staff and several hundred maintenance contract customers.

Dedicating the company to tenant work, Potomac Mechanical was able to take a view on production and turn it into project growth. Today, they feature a broad scope of projects in the HVAC and Plumbing fields, taking on projects large and small, ranging from several hundred dollars to several million dollars. In addition, the company has design and build capabilities that allow for a very flexible scope of projects.

For the future, Potomac Mechanical looks to continue its development in the HVAC and Plumbing market, taking on projects large and small while following the pace set throughout previous years.
