Won Thai Cuisine started out in Berkeley in 1981. We started on the corner of Dwight Way and Sacramento in a small restaurant located across from the Homemade Cafe. We later moved to a bigger location on University Avenue and Sacramento across from the Andronicos supermarket. After five years at that location, my parents decided to call it quits and retire. About a year and a half later, the itch to run a business came back calling and then a vacated spot in the Willow Shopping Center became our new base of operation. We've been here ever since August of 2001.
