At Aveda, The Art and Science of Pure Flower and Plant Essences, we believe that Nature is the best beauty artist of all. This is why we continually strive to increase our use of naturally derived and environmentally sustainable ingredients whenever possible.

Naturally Derived:
We define naturally derived ingredients to be those for which more than 50% of the molecule comes from a plant, non-petroleum mineral, water, or some other natural source.
Our commitment to deliver high performance, botanically-based products that are kinder to the planet – which is good for all of us -- goes much deeper than our use of naturally derived ingredients.

Animals and Aveda:
Our commitment to animal welfare is one of our founding principles. We care for every living creature. We do not conduct animal testing, nor ask others to do it on our behalf, except when it is required by law.

Policies:
Our goal at Purity Hair Design is to ensure that you enjoy your experience with us. The following tips will help to make the most of your time at our salon:

For your first visit please arrive 10 minutes prior to your service. This will allow enough time for a thorough consultation. If you desire extra time to relax and unwind, please come in 20 minutes prior to your visit and enjoy some comforting tea or water as you settle in.

Cell Phone Policy:
For the consideration of all our guests and stylists we ask that cell phones be turned off or silenced while in the salon.


Service Guarantee:
We offer a 100% guarantee on all services. No refunds. You may receive a redo appointment at any time within the first week for most services. Due to the nature of some services, this guarantee may vary. If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us within 72 hours after your appointment so that we can make arrangements to correct any concerns.

We are a professional team and encourage our guests to try any member of our staff for a fresh point of view.

Appointments:
We recommend that you book your next appointment prior to leaving to ensure that the perfect day and time for your next visit is available.

*Walk-ins are always welcome, appointments are preferred.*

Child Policy:
Parents please note: It is essential to make child care arrangements prior to your salon appointment so that you and the other guests may enjoy your time with us to the fullest. It is for the safety of your children and the relaxation of our guests that children are not permitted unless they are receiving a service.


Method of Payment:
• We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
• Gratuities cannot be charged or added to any credit card or bank card.
• Personal checks are accepted. We reserve the right to decline a guests check.
• There is a $30 charge on all returned checks.

Purity Hair Design Gift Certificates:
• Must present Gift Certificate at time of check-out.
• Gift Certificates are valid for products or services from Purity Hair Design and is not redeemable for cash.
• Gift Certificates are non-refundable and cannot be returned.
• Gift Certificate amount cannot be applied to gratuity.
• Purity Hair Design is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates.
• When the full value of the Gift Certificate is redeemed, it will be relinquished to the salon.
• Gift Certificates have no implied warranties and is not a credit card or debit card.
• Other restrictions may apply.


Cancellations & Late arrivals:
•In consideration for other guests, late arrivals will be accommodated to the extent the schedule allows. Your appointment may be rescheduled or shortened with no reduction in service cost.

•In the event that you need to cancel your scheduled appointment with us, we require at least 24 hours notice so that we may possibly accommodate the needs of other clients. In the case of a same day cancellation or if you do not show up for your appointment, you may be charged a fee up to 100% of your total service. We understand that emergency situations do arise and we will try to accommodate you in any way we can.
•A credit card may be required upon booking for frequent cancellations or no shows.
