Connected, Committed, Contagious! Here at First Baptist we are trying to live out our faith in a way that embodies the heart of Jesus.
We want to be Connected: Building Relationships with Christ and one another that are meaningful and missional. We were made to live in community with one another (Acts 2:43-47).
We want to be Committed: Transforming Lives through the Word of God as disciples of Jesus. We are saved to know Christ and to make Him known (Romans 12:1-2).
We want to stand out from the world in order to speak the Good News of salvation. We want to be Contagious: Sharing Freedom that comes through the Gospel of Jesus. We are called to be obedient to the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20), by making disciples of Jesus.
In short, First Baptist is striving to be a Biblically formed church that is faithful and obedient to our Lord. Expository preaching, life application and missional living are at the heart of what we are about.
