Newly created Grove Creek Mules, owned by Donna and Garon Stutzman, is located on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland along the Chesapeake Bay. Grove Creek Mules is proud to co-sponsor Bishop Mule Days Celebration programs such as “I Want to Be a Packer” and Double L Ranch’s youth exhibition.
Grove Creek Mules is dedicated to enhancing the image and increasing awareness of the mule on the East Coast, where mules are few and far between. Grove Creek Mules holds events such as mule clinics for 4 H equestrians, so they can learn first-hand about the incredible, versatile and intelligent mule.
Grove Creek Mules has also embarked upon a new breeding program by acquiring two imported Hanoverian mares which have been bred to two jacks. Both jacks can be seen in competition this year, right here at Mule Days. Clyde’s Gallant Fox and Braymore’s Condor will sire the first offspring at Grove Creek Mules. Hopefully, these future mules will compete in dressage events, not only in Bishop during Mule Days , but at dressage horse events all over the country.
Finally, Grove Creek Mules is honored to host Bobby Tanner and his Twenty Mule Team and new replica Borax wagons this coming January. The team will be an entry in the 2017 Inauguration Parade in Washington, DC marking the 100th anniversary since it won first place in President Woodrow Wilson’s Inaugural Parade.
