P&G Mehoopany Employees Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit cooperative financial institution that is owned and controlled by the members. The Credit Union is not-for-profit, not for charity but for service. The Credit Union provides many of the same products and services as other financial institutions. The difference is that the Credit Union does not report to stockholders, but to you, the member. Profits are returned to the members in the form of better rates and low or no fees.
Membership is free. When you open an account at the Credit Union, you own a share in the Credit Union. You need only to maintain a $ balance in your share account for the life of the account. Your family members are also eligible for membership. Family members include: spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, adoptive relationships and household members.
