September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We are honoring childhood cancer survivor, Josh Whetzel. “I was 17 in this picture. My high school classmates knew I was a big Dodgers fan and they contacted a wish-granting organization that put this trip together for my family and I to go to LA together. At that time, I was trying to graduate high school and go to college but my plans got delayed because I was undergoing treatment. It’s been 27 years since my diagnosis and, fortunately, I’ve been pretty healthy since then.” Childhood cancer survivor Josh Whetzel, now broadcaster for Minor League Baseball's Rochester Red Wings.
