The Mohs Skin Cancer Center, headed by Dr. Patrick M. Killian, M.D., offers state-of-the-art treatment for two of the most common forms of skin cancer: basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. Mohs micrographic surgery performed by the Trillium Creek Dermatology staff is highly effective — even if the skin cancer has been previously treated.

Going back to school marks the start of many sporting events! Don't let skincare infections and irritations interfere with your game. Here are sport related conditions and how to prevent and treat them effectively. Football: Padding up for the game can cause acne, miliaria, and lice. Acne- Excessive sweating from helmets and shoulder pads can cause acne. Using a Benzoyl Peroxide wash in the shower helps prevent and treat. Miliaria- Excessive sweating causes these red bumps. Use a Salicylic Avid wash or Salicylic Acid acne treatment pads to help them dry. Lice- Sharing clothes and helmets can spread lice to your scalp and body.
