LVGW is a community 501c3 non-profit supported by over 150 trained volunteer tutors who provide confidential, free, individualized, year-round tutoring for English language skills to speakers of other languages (ESL) and ABE in 2017. Over 600 adult students seek literacy education each year from LVGW. We also have a Literacy Academy Classroom for group ESL instruction with qualified ESL teachers. We offer these ESL courses in the Worcester Public Library Computer Lab, and at our 90 Madison Place Literacy Academy. Literacy Volunteers affiliated with Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts and ProLiteracy.
