PVHS is located at 326 Industrial Blvd. in Poteau OK . Shelter visiting hrs. are 10 - 1 Monday thru Friday; Sat., 10 - Noon . If you would like to visit the shelter concerning adoption in the late evening hrs., please call 918-649-0986, Shelter office, to make an appt. to do so. Although a volunteer(s) is there late aft. most days, we want to make sure that there will be one there to meet and to help you on the day/time that you request.
2 Ways to make application for a rescue at PVHS: Apply in person during visiting hrs. Apply ONLINE: Go to Click on the ADOPTION FORM LINK near the top of the page. Complete the application. Hit the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the last page of the application. App will be sent to our e-mail. Once we see the app in the mailbox, we will acknowledge receipt with a return e-mail to you.
Volunteers are always needed, so call or e-mail us at poteaupets@ and we will glad to let you know how, if you can just spare a few hrs. a week, you will be able to make a great difference in theses rescues' lives!
We appreciate any donations of dry puppy food, Industrial-sized Mops, paper towels, photocopy paper, , printer cartridges, gently used blankets and towels, soft squeaky dog toys. We can pick up any donated items. We will be happy to do so if you will give us a call!!
