Bank VI

It was in 1906 that John Alfred and Daniel Frank Collingwood recognized the need for a bank in Plains, Kansas to serve the small-town businesses and farmers. Now, 110 years later, the directors and staff at Plains State Bank still are working to serve rural Kansas with the same values and goals as our founders.

As a community bank, our investment and commitment to the communities we serve can be seen throughout history, in the present, and our strategic plan reflects our ongoing commitment to rural community service.

Plains State Bank employees and stockholders are active members of their communities. Through volunteering, serving in various leadership positions on community boards, and just supporting the local businesses, we are committed to truly being a community bank.
