Kenai Watershed Forum works on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, homeland of Dena'ina Athabaskans and Sugpiaq Alutiiq peoples.
In addition to internal programs, Kenai Watershed Forum coordinates of the Kenai Peninsula Fish Habitat Partnership, part of a network of 20 such partnerships that make up the National Fish Habitat Partnership.
As an organization, the Forum takes a non-adversarial approach to conservation. The organization's theory of change is widely inclusive and based in an understanding that to be successful in protecting world renown salmon habitat in Alaska, all stakeholders need to be at the table. Over 25 years, the Forum has built strong and lasting relationships with governments, other non-profits, and organizations at every level.
