Alspach Hair Styles shared Fran Reinert's post.
Thanks Fran it was a pleasure to give you the new style.
Ok ladies! I want to tell ya what happened to me today. For the last six years I've been growing my hair long and have had an awesome color by my girl Sue, but it was just one color, no highlights. I would typically only ever get compliments if I had my hair in a half up do, half up and half down. It is sort of my gypsy style! Lol. Well yesterday, Tuesday 6/21 I had Sue do a new concept on me. I had asked her do Bayalage on me. Girls, this is the latest rage out there. I can't explain exactly how it's done, but Sue will. Today 6/22 I went to my office and first thing in the door, what did you do to your hair, it looks awesome! Next stop was my orthodontist appointment where the girls there absolutely loved it. Three compliments right there in the office. They wanted to know all about this Bayalage and who did it. Next stop Rite Aid, and again the clerk there complimented me on this hair of mine! That's a total of five compliments in one day!!! As I've said, in the six years growing this out, hardly ever, certainly not five in all these years, let alone one day girls!!! I will say that I was probably one of the first girls to do an inverted bob years ago, way before they ever became popular and way before Posh ever wore it. I went to a stylist in Shillington before I moved to the big city here in Auburn. There I had a stylist that studied in California and brought back styles to the ladies on the east coast. I would have people walk up to me all of the time and ask me about this color and style. I was for a walk one time with my husband and people passed us in their car and literally turned around and came back to ask me about my hair. Please know and understand I'm not bragging this on myself, I am not that kind of person, I totally gave my stylist all of the praise. From what Sue has told me I understand that she has had the privilege of having this product where most salons have not had that opportunity. I've said all of that to say this. Never ever ever underestimate our little home town professionals. I'm 54 years old and its really nice when girls that are old enough to be my daughters are loving my hair. I told Sue I'm going to pick up some business cards because if this hair style and color is anything like the one I had years ago, the compliments are going to keep coming and I'm gonna brag my girl Sue up. She's the best. She may not always tell you what you want to hear about a color you may pick out off of the Internet. Sometimes we see a picture and think it will look good on us but in reality a color specialist who is truthful to you will tell you what will look nice on you. Sue tells me, "you stick to building houses and let the hair up to me!" And I'm here to tell ya, let her do her thing and try this new rage, Bayalage! I told the girls today, it's just a one chair salon in our little town of Auburn, but your going to to get a big city look!!! Sue's the best!!!
