CRIS Radio is a private non profit radio reading service serving individuals with low vision, blindness, or other physical disability that prevents them from reading printed material. CRIS operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and provides its audience with access to world, national, and state news from a variety of Connecticut and nationally distributed newspapers and magazines. The CRIS service is provided without charge to its audience. CRIS programs are produced by a dedicated and talented group of more than 350 volunteers.
