This is a pewter figure of a diver with a dolphin standing at about 5 inches tall. It came in to us with the diver broken off where her hand is touching the dolphin. We fixed it by carefully soldering the figure back together, the melting point of pewter is pretty low. The customer is a diver herself and this piece was a gift from her father.

This is a gasoline blow torch from the late 1800's. The tank of it is made of brass, the burner is bronze, the undervein is cast iron, and the handle is wood attached to steel. By the 1970's these types of torches had pretty much disappeared with the increased availabilty of propane after the Korean War in the 1950's. They are still used in some places where propane is not easy to obtain.

Here we have a steel lantern covered in rust. We cleaned it up, polished it, and tin plated it to give this piece the nice finish seen on the right.

This statue of a young boy came in a little beat up, broken arm and his feet slightly pulled away from the base. (As pictured on the right.) We repaired it without damaging the original finish.

This here is a brass pineapple decorative piece. The client wanted the body of it to be silver plated. We did that then polished and laquered the whole piece.
