The Matthews House is a nonprofit organization that desires to break cyclic negative behavior patterns, prevent recidivism in underserved youth, break the cycle of generational poverty, and keep children in nurturing homes. This is accomplished through a relational, strength-based program that focuses on employment, education, safe and affordable housing, physical and mental health, and independent living and social skills development in order to help youth and families become healthy and self-sufficient.
