Monday's Meditation Today is a day of prayer. It is much needed. The circumstances and situations of today cannot be handled otherwise. The only way to make it through the challenges, the pain, the difficulty, and the uncertainty of today is to pray. And while you are praying, give God praise... Help Lord!

Friday's Focus April at Antioch will be a month of Spiritual Renewal! We begin by hosting the CCSA Good Friday Services on April 14, as we anticipate the Word of God through Pastor Claudette Copeland of the New Creation Christian Fellowship, Pastor Ray Brown of the Resurrection Baptist Church, and Pastor Robert Jemerson of the Second Baptist Church. we will then celebrate the risen Savior at sunrise during our 7:30 AM service and again at our 11:00 AM service on Sunday, April 16h. The following week, we will celebrate Youth Day on April 23rd, when our guest preacher will be Rev. Jeremiah Parks, a student at Truett Theological Seminary and a powerful young preacher. The Youth will be in charge of the services on that day and they are preparing even now to lift the Lord in praise. Please support our youth financially and come out and be blessed through the worship on Youth Day. On the Saturday preceding Youth Day, April 22nd, we will have the Recharge Zone. Rev. Jeremiah Parks will also be our guest during this service, when we will bask in the Spirit of the Lord together during the one hour of power, which is the Recharge Zone. Prior to the Recharge Zone, on that Saturday morning, we will evangelize our community through the ACTS ministry and disciple new members through the Ekklesia Overview. Immediately after Youth Day, we will have Spring Revival on April 24th through 26th, when we will be blessed by the anointed preaching of Rev. Dr. Charles Booth from the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church of Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Booth is one of God’s most gifted preachers. Make sure you are present to hear this profound preacher! After the Spring Revival, we have our Women’s Conference, on April 28th-30th. During this continuation of Spiritual Renewal, the women of our church and community, led by our own First Lady Velma Kemp, will be blessed by Worship Leader Jacqueline Willoughby of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Pettus, Arkansans and by the Word of God through Sister Regina Peaches and Rev. Henrietta Brown of Antioch, and Rev. Jessica Bass of the New Creation Christian Fellowship. The keynote preacher on Saturday, April 29th, will be the anointed Dr. Claudette Copeland. On that Sunday, April 30th, the guest preacher will be the young, gifted, and celebrated, Rev. Neichelle Guidry of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. As an author and gifted preacher, Rev. Guidry is highly regarded as an up-and-coming young leader to watch in these United States. The Women’s Conference will also feature the powerful and anointed Kathy Taylor, gospel recording artist, who recorded “The Corinthian Song” and “Oh How Precious.” Sister Taylor is the Minister of Music at the Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston. Her wonderful and powerful voice literally fills up the room. In addition to all of this, there will be arts and crafts; beauty tips; healthy living information from doctors, pharmacists, and social workers; and of course, spiritual uplift through a mighty move of God during the Women's Conference 2017. Register today. You simply do not want to miss it. April at Antioch: A Time of Spiritual Renewal! Come celebrate the Christ with us. You will be glad that you did.

Wednesday's Word of Worship The Church at worship and in fellowship identifies the nurturing nature of the body of Christ. We are stronger, wiser, and better because of the church and the Christ whom she represents. Many want to do church differently today than in the past...and that is an admirable goal; however, the church must not ever lose her focus on worship and fellowship, or else she will cease to be The Church.

Monday's Meditation What a blessing it is to be a part of the church demonstrating Faith, sharing in Fellowship, and having Fun!
