Charlotte Dianna Hughes of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 60 years of age. She was born September 30, 1956 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to David Alfred and Dorothy Marie (Forsyth) Matthews. Charlotte was a 20 year employee of Wal-Mart in Mount Pleasant and of the Baptist Faith. She leaves her husband, Ricky Hughes of Mount Pleasant, Texas; a daughter, Delores D. and her husband Joseph Coulter of Mount Pleasant, Texas; three grandchildren, Wesley Ray and his wife, Shay Matthews, Deven Wayne Coulter and Joseph Ryan Coulter; brothers, Darrell and his wife, Pam Matthews of DeKalb, Texas and David and his wife, Sharon Matthews of Pittsburg, Texas; sister, Sheila and her husband, Walter Carter of Pittsburg, Texas; brothers-in-law, Richard and his wife, Lisa Hughes of Mount Pleasant and Gerald and his wife, Michelle Hughes of Mount Vernon, Texas; a special friend, Stacie Henderson. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Tonya Dianna Matthews, grandson, Aaron Daniel Carr; brother, Dwayne Matthews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Bernell Hughes. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, May 19, 2017 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel. Interment will follow at the Hickory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Robert H. “Bobby” Conner, Jr. of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 63 years of age. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on May 18, 1953. He is retired from TXU where he worked as an electrician. He served in the Coast Guard. He is survived by his wife, Gayla Conner of Mount Pleasant, Texas; mother, Ramona Conner of Olden, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kara and Ben Disner of Murphy, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Rachelle and Jim Guehlstorf of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Zach Fluesche, Austin Disner, Drake Disner and Lilly Disner; brother and friend, Jerry Conner and Karen Robinett of Olden, Texas, brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Raylene Conner of Henderson, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Cecile an Blain Reatherford. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Conner, Sr.. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6: to 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Sue Gibson Moss, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on May 11, 2017 in Winnsboro, Texas. She was born on January 7, 1936 to Willie Gibson and Sybil Cabiness Gibson in Mount Pleasant. She was survived by her Husband of 61 years John Moss of Mount Pleasant, Son & Daughter-in-law Danny and Amy Moss of Gilmer, Son & Daughter-in-law James and Stacy Moss of Winnsboro, Son & Daughter-in-law Raymond and Patty Moss of Paris, Daughter & Son-in-law Sue Ellen and Doug Smith of Winnsboro, Brother Bobby Gibson of El Paso, Sister Rebecca Bush of Gilmer, 12 Grandchildren, and 19 Great Grandchildren. Sue was preceded in death by her Parents, her Sister Mary Will Barrett, and Brothers John, Pat, Jim, and Fred Gibson. A service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, May 15, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Doris Stevens of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 85 years of age. She was born February 3, 1932 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Bud Oren and Daisy (Roach) Stevens. Doris retired from Wal-Mart where she worked in the fabric department for many years. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Stevens and Ann Stevens of Mount Pleasant, Texas; nieces, Angela and Carlton Ivery of Mount Pleasant and Sandra Lee Bronze of Allen, Texas; great nieces and nephews, Taylor Bronze and Christian Bronze both of Allen, Texas and Preston Ivery of Mount Pleasant, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Horace and Charlie Stevens. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 15, 2017 at Nevills Chapel Cemetery.

Michael Lee Breazeale of Hughes Springs, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 03, 2017 at 49 years of age. He was born on December 9, 1967 in Mount Pleasant the son of Carroll Wayne and Mary Ann (Good) Breazeale. Michael was a member of the Northridge Church of Christ in Mount Pleasant. He leaves his parents, Carroll Wayne Breazeale of Hughes Springs, Texas and Mary Ann Breazeale of Mount Pleasant; wife, Angela Brown Breazeale of Bogato, Texas; son, Madison Keith Breazeale of Geismar, Louisiana; daughter, Kaitlyn Breazeale of Port Arthur, Texas; one grandchild, Stetson Cash Boyd; a brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Rachael Breazeale of Geismar, Louisiana; his sister, Karen Towers of Mount Pleasant, Texas; uncle and aunt, Kenneth and Kay Breazeale of Hughes Springs; aunt, Geraldine Champion of Ore City, Texas; numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Travis and Nadine Breazeale and Earl and Mary Good. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Northridge Church of Christ.
