Florida Fur and Leather is a service business for fur and leather items. Our primary business is outerwear. However our expertise has expanded to include a variety of leather items from ladies handbags to leather furniture. Our full range of services include fur and leather cold storage, fur and leather cleaning, alterations and restyling and fur and leather sales. In addition to our regular customers Florida Fur and Leather does a big wholesale business for local dry cleaners. Dry cleaners are encouraged to contact us regarding leather cleaning and fire restoration services.
Florida Fur was started as a business in St Petersburg in 1957. The business has operated continuously since then as a full service fur business. In 2003 leather services were added and the company name was changed to Florida Fur and Leather. The original building was constructed in 1957 specifically designed for fur storage. The building has been expanded twice and the interior has been renovated continuously. The Fur Building is a landmark in St. Petersburg located next to the Tropicana baseball field and easily accessible from Highway 275.
